A sentence I hate equally as much as “Where do you get your protein?” is “What about your iron levels?”

Let’s dissect iron so that we are all clear about what iron does. Iron carries oxygen from the lungs to the cells in the body, and is responsible for the formation of blood cells. It is also required for energy production and a healthy immune system.
