Eat Alkaline

At this point we are all aware of my obsession with nutrition and the food industry. You are probably also aware that I read a copious amount of books and watch far to many documentaries. One of the main things that I have some to learn is the importance of eating an alkaline dominant diet.

Most of us are eating a diet based on excessive acid forming foods and not enough alkaline forming ones. I did not realize the dangers of this until I started to look into it. Did you know that most diseases attributed to aging, cancer, osteoporosis, kidney stones, heart disease and allergies have all be scientifically linked to mineral deficiencies resulting from your body becoming too acidic?

The optimum pH for the body fluids is 7.0. When the body is too acidic, it creates a welcoming environment for bacteria and viruses. As they become highly productive, we experience frequent illness, pains and lack of energy. If one stays acidic, over time the bacteria or illness can mutate into a serious and/or life altering illness.
