Life Activation Challenge Day 19
Today I took a day for myself. Saying that you could find me face first in a pillow would have been an understatement. When I finally decided to grace my day it was 5 o clock in the afternoon. Talk about a 180.
We all know I can’t just have a lazy day and be satisfied; so I dragged my tired ass to a detox yoga class. Boy am I ever glad that I did! What a sense of community! We drank tea, filled up on chlorophyll, Sweat out our toxins, and then juiced together. Why would anyone want to leave?
At this point you are probably wondering what chlorophyll is. Chlorophyll is the life of a plant, it is responsible for their green color. Chlorophyll absorbs energy from the sun and facilitates photosynthesis in plants. So when you drink or take chlorophyll you are drinking and taking the suns energy. Neato!
It helps to rebuild and replenish our red blood cells, boosting our energy and increases our wellbeing. Because it promotes the growth of red bloods cells, new oxygen is carried through the entire body. Chlorophyll also promotes the production of new enzymes in the digestive system. This is extremely beneficial to most because of a highly processed diet. After years of eating processed food, the body slows the production of enzymes as we age. Enzymes are tools for absorbing nutrients from the foods we eat. So the lower our enzyme count the less we benefit from or foods. There are many ways to take chlorophyll- liquid, powder, or simply by eating more dark greens.
