Life Activation Challenge Day 8
The discovery of raw cacao nibs was by far the greatest thing to happen to the chocoholic in me. Chocolate as a super food, incredible right?
This amazing bean (also known as “Food of the Gods”) has shown to be a powerhouse of cognitive enhancement, mood and bliss-enhancement. These beans are filled with antioxidants, flavonoids and many other brain & body-enhancing elements. It improves skin elasticity, is great for cardiovascular health and is an awesome cancer preventative! Yes, chocolate can be a health food… But only in its purest, most natural form— not that stuff you buy at the corner store.
I eat it with a side of honey (to dip of course!), and is great paired with apples and peaches. Eating cacao nibs will secrete endorphins in the brain result in a feeling of pleasure similar to a runner’s high. While it is not an aphrodisiac, raw cacao nibs do contain Serotonin and enylethylamine, two sexual stimulants. This magical bean also contains many neurotransmitters such as dopamine and anandamine— The stuff that makes you feel happy, high and in love.
