It’s a Smoothie Kinda Love


Smoothies are a fun way to enjoy fruit— fresh or frozen. Support your local farmers market and make your smoothies according to what is in season! Follow a recipe or just add what you have in your kitchen either way, they are jam packed with vitamins and are surprisingly filling.

Before you begin; are you using fresh or frozen fruit? If using frozen fruit omit the use of ice.

Strawberry Banana

1 banana

1 cup strawberries

1 cup almond milk

1/2 cup ice cubes

In a blender, combine fruit, milk and ice. Puree until smooth.

Very Berry Smoothie

1/2 cup raspberries

1/2 cup strawberries

1/2 cup blue berries

1/2 cup blackberries

1/2 cup almond milk

1/2 cup apple juice

1/2 cup ice cubes

In a blender, combine fruit, milk, juice and ice. Puree until smooth.

Green Coconut Juice

 2 bananas, frozen

2 handfuls of spinach

1 cup almond milk

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla

1 tbsp coconut oil

In a blender, combine all ingredients and puree until smooth.

Killer Kiwi

2 cups red grapes

1/2 lemon, seeded and peeled

1/2 kiwi, peeled

3 cups of ice

In a blender, combine fruit and ice. Puree until smooth.

Hawaiian Ginger

2 bananas

1 cup orange juice

1 tbsp minced ginger

1/2 cup ice cubes

In a blender, combine fruit, juice, ginger and ice. Puree until smooth.

Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie

1 cup almond milk

1/2 cup rolled oats

1 banana

14 frozen strawberries

1/2 tsp vanilla

1 1/2 tsp honey or agave nectar

In a blender, combine milk, oats, banana and strawberries. Add vanilla and honey if desired. Puree until smooth.
